According to the Telegraph report, police have warned the public to be on their guard for bombs at cash points, after thieves blew a hole in the wall to steal money from a cash machine in a petrol station in a quiet Hampshire village. The blast was said to have shaken homes and started a small fire at the petrol station.

The report goes on to say that Hampshire police released CCTV footage of the attack. The footage shows the empty forecourt moments before the blast rips the stand alone ATM apart and showers the floor with money. No one was hurt in the attack but police are warning people to be careful when using cash points and to be on the lookout for wires and cables that may be connected to explosives.

Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Murray stated in the report the following:

"Our priority is to keep the public safe and by showing this CCTV footage, we hope it highlights how potentially dangerous an explosion of this type can be."
